We adopted her in January 2025 and she has been a blessing to us all! We love her more than words can say. She quickly settled with us in & is extremely loving and happy! Dessin Animal Shelter was wonderful with getting her ready to come home with us. We are very thankful for Kim & all of the staff there. What a blessing they are to these animals. "He has been so awesome, glued to my side and happy with Kula, Eli (the Chihuahua) and Saska the kitty. He was perfectly well behaved at the vet too. Loves to do Zoomies in the yard and very responsive to training.

 This is Firecracker and she was adopted in September 2019. She loves to snuggle and is just a little spoiled.
 

 Bailey, (Dessin name "Marbles"), adopted in 2010, and Mel, (Dessin name "Atilla"). adopted a couple years later. Both are happy and healthy, even if living together in a protracted state of detente. 

 This is my precious Casey (formally Buttons) adopted on December 16, 2010. Casey was found as a stray in the state of Kentucky and brought up on a transport to Dessin. It was meant to be since I had no intention of viewing available pups on that particular day. I clicked on the site and there she was looking back at me wrapped in a yellow blanket. I immediately fell in love. She has a 15-year-old puppy brother, and they are inseparable. Thank you, Dessin for many, many years of happiness and love.  

 This is Loki. We adopted him 5 years ago and he is the best dog I have ever had! 

 This us Chester. Adopted in 2012. I was looking for a ginger cat and he was the only orange cat at the shelter. It was like he knew, as soon as I approached him, he came up to me. He was 5 years old. It was love at first sight. The staff at the shelter said he was all the cats' favorite, he was like a father to all of them, they always followed him. 

 Clyde, on the right, adopted May 2022. He is a wonderful pup and is loving life at the lake! 

 Maddie and Izzy, adopted as kittens in January 2018. Leash trained little adventure cats. 

 Here's our wonderful Brin. We adopted her May 2022. She's a sweetheart and makes us laugh with her silliness. She loves snuggling on the couch. We absolutely love and adore her. 

 Smokey adopted 12 years ago. 

 Our sweet girl Flower was adopted 8 years ago. She gives the best snuggles! Vet believes she's about 13 now. She's definitely showing her age with arthritis in her hips and going deaf. But still loves to play with her younger brother! 

 My sweet girl Haleigh that took ownership of my house in February of 2022. She loves to cuddle, walk, eat, and play with her toys. 

 Jasmine was adopted from Dessin in 2016 when she was only 6months old. Today, she's queen of the couch and has 6 four legged brothers and sisters and 4 human brothers and sisters. 

 Cozmo (previously named Colton) was adopted in September 2019. He loves playing and cuddling with everyone. One of the best dogs I have ever had! 

 Our sweet Banjo was adopted nearly two years ago in January 2021 as a kitten. His name at the shelter was Snuggles and he sure does live up to it! He is playful, loving and rules the roost (he’s even in charge of the dog). He’s living his best life and we are so grateful for him! 

 This is Misty! We adopted her from you guys in 2006, shortly after we moved to PA! It is 2023, 17 years later that gal is lovely and amazing! That gal was our first furry family member and is enjoying her senior years with our son in Vermont! She’s amazing and will be loved forever, thank you for bringing us together!

 Our spoiled boy, Cooper, (aka DeNero) was adopted from Dessin in Nov. 2021. He’s a sweet, playful goofball who everyone loves! 

 Thumper (former name Blaze) he has 3 feet and spent a long time at the shelter. I adopted him after completing a Disy Girl Scout visit with my daughter and her troop. That was 5 or so years ago. 

 Charlie (kept his name the same). We adopted him January 2022. He is super sweet and cuddly.

 This is Koo Koo. I wasn't planning to adopt another cat but he kept on following me and jumping on my lap when I visited the Dessin in 2013. He adopted me! He's 9 years old now and we're been very happy together. 

 This is Pablo, he is 17 years old! I've had him for 13 years! He is almost blind and hard of hearing, but he is well loved. 

 This is our Husky Kona that we adopted on December 19th 2021 from Dessin. He was 9 months old when he came home He is a ball of energy but such a sweet boy  

 This is Timmy who we adopted in 2015. He is the sweetest boy 

 Adopted Ollie (Douglas) spring 2022. He is so much fun and a serious cuddle bug. Love him!! 

 This is Keiko (happy blessed child)....FKA Rocky. 11/2018 he was known for running away. Turned over to Dessin to find a forever human. We quickly found out he only needed love and attention. He is forever by our side. He's a good boy. 

 Lucy (we kept her name) was adopted from Dessin in January 2020. Her favorite activities are being a potato and snuggling. She’s the absolute best girl and we love her to bits! Thank you for all that you do!  

 Opal now Pearl has been with me for 5 yrs now. She has brought me lots of love and laughs. She is definitely a lover.and has hi energy. She has her sister from another mister lol. And they love each other. 

 Ariel adopted 3 years ago, she was born disabled but is my best girl and the sweetest dog in the world! We rescued each other!
